Shortly after the birth of my second child, I found myself at rock bottom. As an exhausted mother of two with a husband who traveled often for work, I was constantly exhausted and barely able to keep up with the demands of everyday life. I had no energy to engage with my kids the way I wanted to, and I felt stuck in survival mode. At over 100 pounds overweight, I struggled with low confidence, unclear skin, and persistent digestive issues. I felt completely out of control around food, turning to it — and alcohol — for comfort, which only deepened the cycle of fatigue and frustration. Exercise felt impossible, and I didn’t even know where to start when it came to taking care of myself. I was overwhelmed and unsure how to climb out of the hole I was in, but I knew something had to change. That’s when I decided to take control of my health and rebuild my life — one small step at a time.

  • I get to teach and practice yoga, one of my favorite activities, multiple times a week, bringing me joy and balance.
